Fantasy upon a Japanese folk song.

The waves crashed upon the shore, showering Azumi with a cool mist. Standing on the sand the waves broke at her feet. Hight tides were setting in, with them the begginings of the night. Bright orange horizon was quietly fading away with the sun, falling behind the sea.

Her white dress blowing in the breeze held daintly to her delicate frame. The tanned skin she gained from working in the sun glowed in the fading light. Lost in her thoughts she stared unseeingly at the view. Her mind thousands of miles away.

She held a small ragged music box. Small enough to fit in her hand, and the fabric that covered it was beggining to wear. It is her most prized possesion, the only link she has to the past. Openning the lid the music started flowing out. The familiar melody brings tears to her eyes. Collapsing to her knees she hold the box tightly to her chest. Just as the waves of emotions wash over her.

-Authors note
The story isn't complete, and its cliche in many ways... However it'll be expanded upon. Also the song is a japanese kids song "Tsunyama" at least thats how i think you spell it. This story based of a song writen by Samuel Hazo "fantasy upon a japanese folk song", and the true story of one of his friends.
